Thank you for visiting and shopping at Sceems. The following terms apply to all orders placed through our store.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding Canadian holidays). Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will be processed the next business day. Please note that we do not process or ship orders on weekends.
Shipping Methods and Costs
We offer two shipping options:
Canada Post Shipping
We ship all orders via Canada Post. Shipping costs are calculated in real-time at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method. Available shipping options include:

- Most economical option (3-9 business days within Canada)

- Faster delivery (2-7 business days within Canada)

- Express service with guaranteed delivery (1-2 business days within Canada)

- Premium overnight service (next business day within Canada)
Local Delivery
For customers located within 20 km of our Ottawa location (910-2861 Baycrest Drive, Ottawa, ON K1V 8X8), we offer local delivery as an alternative to Canada Post shipping.
- Delivery area: Within 20 km radius of our Ottawa location
- Delivery fee: $5.00
- Delivery timeframe: Delivered within 2 business days
- How it works: If your address qualifies for local delivery, you'll see it as an option at checkout
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times are estimates and begin from the date of shipment, not the order date:
- Canada Post - Regular Parcel: 3-9 business days
- Canada Post - Expedited Parcel: 2-7 business days
- Canada Post - Xpresspost: 1-2 business days
- Canada Post - Priority: Next business day
- Local Delivery: Within 2 business days
All Canada Post orders include tracking information, which will be sent to your email address once your order ships.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship within Canada only. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to certain locations at our discretion.
For customers within 20 km of our Ottawa location, local delivery is available as an alternative to Canada Post shipping.
Important Notice: Canada Post Service Disruption
Please be aware that Canada Post is currently experiencing service disruptions due to a labor strike that began on September 25, 2025. As a result, delivery times may be longer than usual, and some services may be temporarily unavailable. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Delays and Carrier Issues
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Shipping carrier delays or service disruptions
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer
- Events beyond our control
Once your package is handed to Canada Post, title and risk of loss transfer to you. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for additional shipping charges to reship the order.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package appears to be lost or arrives damaged:
- Lost packages: Contact us at info@sceems.com if your package has not arrived within 5 business days of the expected delivery date
- Damaged packages: Inspect your package upon delivery and contact us immediately at info@sceems.com with photos of the damage
We will work with Canada Post to resolve the issue and file a claim if necessary.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships via Canada Post, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can track your package at:

- Or through the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email
For local delivery orders, you will receive a confirmation email when your order is out for delivery.
